Eagle Ray Wall

Eagle Ray Wall, also known as Cantarell, is located in the north of Cozumel. It is the perfect adventure dive for experienced divers. Allow the current to carry you along the edge of the wall until you reach The Crack, a large gap ideal for hiding from the current and admiring the corals, sponges, and fish.

But this dive site didn’t get its name for its drop-off or current, but for another reason entirely: During the winter months, sometimes well into April, groups of Spotted Eagle Rays can be seen swimming effortlessly in the blue. A group of Eagle Rays, also called a “flight,” can be as large as 17 animals.

These rays pass Cozumel on their migration route and can almost be guaranteed to be spotted at Eagle Ray Wall between December and February.

Most of our dives use 100cf aluminum tanks filled with EANX 32%. This allows for outstanding diving profiles and reef routes, something not possible with air and smaller tanks.
